I want to know if oil burning is usual in my 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

I seem to use a quart of oil every 2,000 miles or so in my Buick. It is under warranty still, the dealer says this is normal. I have had other cars that didn't use a drop of oil?|||1 quart in 1000 is considered normal by gm|||This is COMPLETELY NOT NORMAL under any circumstances unless this is a fleet vehicle used under extreme conditions and you should take it to another dealership and have this checked out ASAP!!!!|||buick may consider it normal because they dont want to fix it however it is not normal|||They won't warrantee it if it don't use any more oil than that.
