Roughly how much could one expect to get from a junk yard for a 1982 Buick? The car is in ok shape but has a blown engine which will cost more to repair than the car is worth. A friend believes he may receive up to $800 for the car while I'm more inclined to think something along the lines of $300. Who is closer?|||$50 is the going rate for a vehicle over 10 years old!
Many salvage yards will want to pay $0, and will haul it away for free!|||you are.about 250|||if they have to pick it up $100|||probably about 20 bucks..
