How to fix casette player in a 1988 buick riviera?

I have a casette player in a 1988 buick riviera that needs to be fixed. I insert a casette tape and the computer screen doesnt play it....I press the play button on the computer screen and nothing happens. I just needed to know how to correct this problem...It is not because that i am inserting the tape incorrectly, I know that for a fact.|||It's broken, not worth fixing.|||cassette tape players are obsolete, get a CD player
