What is the average lifespan of a '96 Buick Regal?

Mine has 183,600 miles on it, and I'm starting to plan on getting a new car. My main question is, how long would you say it has on average?





I know that the life of a car depends on how well it is kept and maintained, but how long do '96 Buick Regals last on average, with regular oil changes and fluid checks?|||it is not uncommon for the buick's to go over 500,000 miles.


I had a 91 LeSabre with 365,000 miles on it in 2001. Gave it to daughter who still drives it. not sure how many miles are on it now but would estimate at least 425,000. all without major problems just normal maintenance.|||Yours has already beaten the average.





I'm assuming it has the original engine and transmission - keep in mind, if you know a decent mechanic, you could probably keep it running indefinitely.





It is getting on the old side though - keep driving it carefully, and keep it maintained, and you might be able to squeeze another couple grand out of it.|||less than 11 years. time for a new ride.|||An American car can double that mileage with no problem if maintained properly.
