What is different between Buick 3800 L engine 1994 vs 1995?

Was advised I could replace a complete 1994 Buick Lasaber 3.8 L engine into a 1995 Buick Lasabre having a L 3.8 if I first exchanged the intake manifold before swapping engines. The 1994 3.8 Buick Lasabre Engine I found looks like it has the same manifold. What is the difference between these two engines? Will flywheels fit transmission?|||As I recall, there isn't much difference at all b/c the body style was the same. There was a difference between the normally aspirated 3.8 and the supercharged version that was in the Riv %26amp; PA Ultra that year. But that difference was limited to the compression, torque converter, %26amp; of course it had a blower on it. What you are proposing should do ok.|||The engines are indeed different but interchange fairly easily.

A 1995 motor fits a 1994 by including 1995 oil pan, flywheel, and then switching intake manifolds.
