Do be sure to have a BUICK DEALER look over the vehicle before you buy it. If this costs you $100.00 it is a wise decision, beware the bad cars/sales people of the world... do your part to insure your happines with the vehicle.|||I know of several problems with the egr stove pipe on the lower intake manifold is to big and therefore melts the upper intake plenum which causes coolant to leak into the engine which eventuly causes hydro locking of the engine.I have seen a coulpe that have bent rods and cracked blocks as a result

|||i had a 65buick 400,000 plus before it died .. motor still ran|||Any car that hasn't been regularly maintained can be a pile of junk no matter what make and model it is. Who knows? Maybe the oil, coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and associated filters have never been changed. Or worse yet, the used car dealer finally changed them one time and steamed cleaned the engine just before he sold you the car. Even with excellent maintenance, expect the transmission to fail before 150,000 miles. And what about collision damage? Can you tell if its ever been in a major accident? How about a nice new Toyota Corolla?|||Well maintained with regular oil changes. . .250K is not unheard of.
