How do you open the trunk on buick rendezvous without the remote?

I have a 2003 buick rendezvous CX and lost the remote. I like to know How do you open the trunk on buick rendezvous without the remote|||I looked through your owners manual and there should be a liftgate release button in your instrument panel. You can also open the rear liftgate by unlocking the doors and using the rear liftgate handle as well. This information can be found in section 2 page 12. I hope this helps you.
